On one hand, society clearly demonizes a life of excess, especially with it's drug policy. On the other, they make royalty out of a lucky few who actually live a life of excess.

I think she's talented, but I also question the wisdom of societies who reward folks like her.

If you put it into purely mathematical terms, imagine tens of thousands of young girls who idolize Amy. Many hundreds of those girls will actively seek to copy her lifestyle to be cool. I am leery of this.

She's still talented though. I definitely think she is a unique singer with a unique look.

She ain't no Ani DiFranco, not by a long shot. That's a woman to be admired.
