Not exactly a Springsteen fan...BUT I did see him live in Slane, Co.Meath in 1985 and he was absolutely amazing...fabulous outdoor venue too. The grounds at Slane castle are a natural amphitheatre and one day concert festivals have been an almost yearly event since the first one 1982 I think (which I was also at ) where U2 were the little known support act and Thin Lizzy headlined. The Stones played this year.
So have a blast Donnie & Mrs.D xxx I have tickets for thePolice next month and I'm toying with the idea of shelling out for Amy Winehouse (gawd love her), who's just announced a one night only in Dublin on Dec1st. But I'm really looking for smaller gigs atm. Ooooh but I see Led Zepplin are playing one night at the O2 Arena, tickets at £150 (bout $300) and by ballot....I still can't get the fucking ballot registry webpage to load!!!!!! Chance are slim to none, but who knows...watch this space
