Caught Bob Dylan June 30th at Bethel Woods (original spot of Woodstock). The best concert I've ever been to...I was filled with emotions...I bawled like a baby. Weird. Could listen to him all day and night.
Any other fans?

I have been a long-time fan of Bob Dylan ... I was introduced by my high school English teacher who used his song lyrics as poetry examples .. gotta love the 70's ..
The only time I saw him in concert (early 80's) he played with a large orchestra, and to be honest, it wasn't the real Bob Dylan ... but I still play many of his early CDs regularly ... Highway 61 Revisited, Blonde on Blonde, and Blood on the Tracks are my absolute favorites.
Of course, the single "Hurricane" was an amazing protest song, graphically illustrating the all too common injustice of that time.

Bethel Woods is a beautiful concert venue. They did a wonderful job of maintaining the integrity of the farmland, the architecture seems to blend right in with the rolling hills. The views are amazing! I've been to past festivals (before it was Bethel Woods) and I think the spirit of 1969 is still there.
Everything about it was positive. The vibe is low key and harmonious, even amongst the staff and security. I'll stop now before I start sounding like a commercial.
I started listening to Bob Dylan when I was probably 17. I still have a lot of his music on cassette tape. I'm trying to change that and replace it all with cds. I'd love to own some original Dylan records, our record player still works very well and I bet they'd sound amazing.
I just bought Don't Look Back, a documentary by D.A. Pennebaker that follows Dylan as he tours England in 1965. He's very young, fiery, and outspoken. On the tour, it's still just Bob, his harmonica, and acoustic guitar, he hadn't plugged in yet. Watching is like stepping back in time. My favorite part is when he is being interviewed by a reporter for Time magazine. Good stuff!

i saw bob once recently i was kinda dissapointed he only played a few songs and you could barely hear him. wasnt worth the money i paid to get in. plus all the songs he played were new songs i had never even heard b4 i wanted to hear some classics.
I'm a huge Dylan fan. I love Modern Times, and of course the older stuff rocks. I've seen him once and it was so awesome. I spend a lot of time getting stoned and listening to Dylan tunes, so seeing him live was priceless. And I even managed to smuggle in a little bud. I don't remember the whole concert due to my extreme drunkeness, but I had one hell of a time.

I haven't listend to a Dylan for over a year now. Been too long perhaps. Haven't listened to his later albums. Never got over the idea of turning to christianity. I found it a big turn off. Time I dug out Blonde on Blonde...
I saw Bob Dylan three years ago this summer. He was amazing! I would have loved to see him in the 60’s but I was not alive. So I am happy that I was able to see him and that it was a great show. Willy Nelson came on before him. We smoked a couple joints and drank beer and had a great time.
I am totally addicted to Highway 61 Revisited right now. I love “It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes A Train To Cry”. It’s a great song! Blood On The Tracks is another one of my favorite albums of his. I think “Meet Me In The Morning” is my favorite song on that album. I love Dylan so much it is hard to pick out my favorites.
