We started by going to see Sweeny Todd... let me just say that Johnny Depp was absolutely incredible, and nobody will tell me different... but overall I was disappointed in the movie. I know its a musical, and I expected a musical... but, it was just a little to much singing and not enough slitting throats for me.
I have also watched the Home Alone movies, only the first 2... those are the only ones that count to me. I watched a Goofy Movie and Care Bears Nutcracker... and they were both as amazing as I remember them to be. May sound strange, but it makes me happy on the inside.
Peace. | PROPS! Johnny Depp is my all time favorite actor (maybe cuz I'm weird like him)
CARE BEAR STARE!!!! (sigh) I loved that movie when I was a kid, really gotta see it again.
The last 3 days I've been watching Star Wars series when I finish work.....just finished Episode 3 a few minutes ago, I believe that the prequels could have been done better but the purpose of them was to advance the storyline for later, so certain points of the prequels I think would have been a lot more awesome, were so so.
Anakin/Vader's turn could have been more.....dark...demented....psychotic. Instead he kneels down and pledges to the Dark Side (WTF?)
The assassination of the Jedis was kind of lame, for warriors who are supposedly able to see whats coming, they had no clue, while it works well for storyline, its another WTF moment for people like me (I analyze moves too much sometimes, especially Series movies like these)
In episode 2, Anakin was more defiant, showed emotions, was angry more, seemed to fulfill the Darth Vader persona, suddenly in Episode 3 he's respectful, he seems to have let go of his anger and fear without any explanation, two lines from Darth Sidious changes his persona in an instant.....kind of disappointed me, I would have loved to see a bigger role in his stopping Windu from killing Sidous.
Oh well we cant always get what we want. Tomorrow morning its Episode 4....a New Hope

The movie was a bit short but would you prefer a movie that drove on for 3 hours about nothing then had a story book ending? What ending would you have wanted?
Fred, if you're real you better tell me right now!
Dammit Fred! Dammit!

It was a wonderful story. The movie was a little slow is spots and jumped back and forth in time a little too much for my taste but on the overall it was really good. I recommend it if you are so inclined to check it out. |
