Ledger as The Joker is the Best Villain ever.
There is a Two-Face unlike any before.
and
It is a dark brutal movie, and introspective on today's climate.
WoW.
Ledger will get a posthumous Oscar for Supporting actor. Heard it now. |

Stoner Buck$$: 73.56 | Re: The Dark Knight I frigging loved the movie, heath ledger was beyond brilliant (as I'm sure you all agree), and it was just overall great. I'm a bit pissed though that I got all high for it, went to the theatre, and then during the last 45 minutes of the movie I got hit by a bout of excruciating pain all over my body (from a spinal injury) that ruined the rest of it for me. Still, one of the most amazing movies I've ever seen.
There is one thing I'll complain about though. In the first movie "Batman Begins", he had this amazing and stealthy martial prowess that had him swooping around in shadows, making him frightening, mysterious, and really fucking cool. This second movie was almost like 1960's Batman where he just jumps in a window and starts punching the shit out of everybody. There was a harsh lack of stealth and martial arts finesse. But don't get me wrong, so much other insanely cool stuff still made this one of the greatest movies of all time.

Stoner Buck$$: 100.86 | Re: The Dark Knight On first impression I thought the Dark Knight was a bit too long and overly complicated, with too much going on at times for the story to run smoothly, certain things grated on me, most of all Bale's croaky, annoying "Batman voice"
