24 - with Jack Bauer...any fans?

I am a big 24 fan.

Anyone like this?

If you think it might suck I have to tell you, it's pretty amazing.

The first three seasons were great except for Jack Bauer's stupid daughter who they FINALLY wised up and wrote out.

Seasons 4 and 5 were off the wall amazing.

Season 6 FELL so flat on it's face with stupidity that it was pathetic. I have heard the writers strike is a big problem, so Season 7 is probably going to be a creative poop ball.

Don't get me wrong, 24 is ridiculous and over the top, but the writing in Season 4 and 5 was really amazing.

24 made me think very much about the nature of power and how different people deal with different problems. Some handle it with confidence and humility, and others fall into corruption, chaos...etc.

I am generally not a fan of many network shows because I think censorship totally sucks. However, 24 was more gritty and shocking than any other network tv show I've ever seen.

AFTER watching 24, it was hard to get into the last season of Sopranos. Why? This is kind of interesting. It's because 24 makes you an adrenaline junkie. The premise of the show is that this crazy Government Agent/Hero Jack has 24 hours to stop these horrible attacks from happening. So there's constantly a majorly emotional race against time. Every moment you feel the hurry. I was so addicted to this show that I watched all 5 seasons in a matter of 3-4 weeks. I constantly wanted to be watching.

I HIGHLY recommend this series, and I surely recommend it 'high.'
