and most movies that are not your normal horror
as i find most of them way too predictable, which makes them boring

Well, I have to say I'm a zombie man, myself. Other than that, I really dug "Shadow of the Vampire." I'm not really a vampire guy, but I do love Murnau's Nosferatu and 'Shadow' was a really great take on it. And Willem DaFoe is fantastic! | |

I hate all those new(I say new but they have been making this crap since the first scream flick came out) american horror movies without a remotely solid plot and with the worst acting known to man....

Okay I'm not usually into the norm in the horror category. I like a little horror mixed with some suspense. Like Seven and Saw. I do get really freaked out during those paranormal movies. Ya know with spirits and Demons and all that stuff. I don't know why but that kind of thing just trips me out. Amityville horror scared the shit out of me. | |

Idk if anyone has the Encore Mystery channel, but around Hitchcock's birthday they play a marathon of all his movies. Nothin beats just kickin it with your friends, tokin up, and watchin some old Hitchcock films.

The movies that were running as a triple feature at drive-ins in the 70's .. Last House on the Left .. Texas Chainsaw Massacre .. The Hills have Eyes ..
These days ... I think that House of 1000 corpses comes close to capturing that 70s horror feel .... and maybe even Grindhouse will fall into that category ... due to be released next week ....
