The first time I watched this show, the adult brother was chatting online with a young, teenage girl. It really turned me off to the show. I havent watched it since. |

Yeah, I'd have to admit that this show grew on me.
The writing has pretty much been excellent.
However, casting the Olsen twin was a major strike out. 
Other than that, super writing, super casting, and it's produced excellently.
I recorded my own version of 'Little Boxes' in an ominous minor key on the guitar.

I think Weeds is an all-around great show... worth the $13 spent every month for Showtime On Demand (even though showtime has NOTHING else worth watching, including movies -- larry the cable guy is on every two or three days) so I can watch it when it comes out each week. I thought the season finale was pretty good... and I didn't even mind the casting of the Olsen girl. It's a mildly twisted show; nothing crazy like that nip/tuck stuff.

Great show! I don't have Showtime either, so I rented them on DVD. I really can't wait until the 3rd season comes out on DVD, because the 2nd Season ended on a fucking cliff-hanger.

I don't get Showtime, but my friend introduced me to the show, and I must say, Mary Louise Parker is one of the hottest 43 year olds ever!
I love the show, and have season one and two on DVD. Season three should be out pretty soon, I hope.
My favorite show, ahead of House, anything on Speed, and 24.
