Lightbulb Wow

This was either gonna be a music or a movie thread I wasn’t sure which. It’s mainly in tribute to Ron Fricke’s amazingly stunning ‘Baraka’ but it was dead can dance that took to back to there. I’d sorta forgotten about the movie, hadn’t seen it in years (‘94 or ’95)

Till the other day I was reading an article about Brendan Perry (dead can dance) He lives and has a studio here in Ireland, an old place he renovated called Quivvy Church. It prompted me to be pull out all their old stuff. 4AD records, same as the CocteauTwins. Music I haven’t played in a long time…and then I remembered ‘Baraka’.

I watched it last night...well half of it, then the feckin rental dvd stalled... I have it on order now. What I saw blew me away.

Enjoy
