Just saw the midnight showing of the movie and seriously... It was AWFUL. Just wanted to let you know. AWFUL. I want My $5.00 back... The only scary part was t ending, and it wasn't 'OMG I'M SCARED!!" it was "OMG THERE'S LOUD NOISE AND SHIT FLYING AT THE CAMERA!"
Half the audience thought that it was a documentary... I was with the other half - laughing My ass off at how retarded this movie was... I was stoned, and still wasn't scared. >.< Don't waste your money. I only spent $5.00, and I still feel like I got gypped!

Seriously? Aw man... such a let down. I'm a member over at the Fangoria Forums and there was a thread hyping the crap out of this movie saying it was one of the best horror movies ever. Now that I've actually heard an opposing theory, I'm really not sure whether or not I want to take the time to see it. As far as I know it isn't playing here yet anyway. Damn...

Honestly, it was like an awful ghost hunting show. They claim that what is bothering these people is a demon and it doesn't do anything more than the ghosts that are in my house do until the end, where they just use startle tactics.
It's called viral marketing, folks. Same thing that happened with Blair Witch. I mean, honestly, the trailers? All they showed were people screaming. It doesn't tell you ANYthing about the movie itself. Why? There's not much to tell.
Couple are being bothered by an entity. Psychic says 'negativity will make it worse. It feels like a demon, not a ghost - oh, and don't use a Ouija board kthxbai.' So the couple starts to argue more with each other and the guy buys a Ouija board. Door slam, pics fall off the wall, footprints are found in the rooms, the blankets move while they sleep and the end is a spoiler for those who still want to see it, so you'll have to highlight the text below to read it.
SPOILER: The chick gets posessed and kills her boyfriend and flings his body at the camera. Her body is never found. That is the ZOMG scary part! *fail* | |

I personally would recommend it. Scary movies are great when they leave a lot of blanks for your imagination to fill in, and this one does a very good job at that. You can either watch the movie with a creative open mind and let it scare the poop out of you, or you can go in, tell yourself it's just a movie with actors, and waste 5 dollars.
The way you experience it is up to you. It's fun to get scared, so just believe the hype, it'll make your viewing more enjoyable.

I Agree with you 100% terrible movie it made me laugh so hard it was like one of those movie spoofs of a horror movie man i sure am glad i didn't burn before watching it because it would have been a waste of weed
is it me or are their really no movies that scare you around anymore the last movie that scared me was the hills have eyes it was actually really good in theaters i thought
