DIY 5 gallon bucket spray ring hydro
| | Looking to alleviate the neccesity for a large (32-35 gallon) reservoir. I designed a 1/4 diameter adjustable spray ring for use with a 5 gallon bucket hydro system. System has 2 - 5 gallon buckets with pumps, one with a float switch, to supply nutrients to the grow buckets, the second bucket is connected to the grow buckets via drain lines to pump the nutrients back to the reservoir bucket. The grow buckets are fitted with a lid which contains the basket in it and can be purchased from most gro shops. Also, and additional bucket bottom is cut to act as the base for each of the grow buckets, allowing for a bottom drain to be placed in the grow bucket. The cut bucket bottom is then drilled to accomodate a drain tube exit hole. | | | |
