I think after reading thins article that this specific study really highlights the true people playing major rolls in this states legalization of marijuana. it is true that the newly 18 year old's are far more likely to be in major support of marijuana-even if they themselves dont smoke it . they see it's ability to generate taxe revenues just through simple sales taxes alone will help turn California's and america's growing debts around. the older generation - the 50 somethings and 60 somethings are greatly opposed to its legalization. why? they were subjected to the Cotton Industry's "reefer madness" advertisments, and honestly truely buy into them. when was the last time you talked to a older person in support of prohibition? I dont know about you , but they last time I asked someone in that age group what they think about it they told me that it will make this nation a group of zombies with no ambitions. is this true? hell no- I am one of the busiest people I know and I smoke marijuana. I alone dis-prove that theory .

I hate how divided people can become due simply to fear. I hope people of this nation start using their brains and start thinking. leading your life based on emotions such as fear will only make you more primative.

have you seen the movie the union?? if not i highly recomend it! its about leglaization of weed and pretty much reasons it was outlawed and cvers just about every topic you can think of. it has interviews with a few "stars" who are high at the moment of taking place in the movie and interview them as well as tommy chong

I must also agree, the documentary is very informative and in a way brings light to the subject and shows the hypocrisy of marijuana laws. People must especially in such a time of power hungry leaders, begin to think and use their thinking critically. Look at the issue from both sides and come to a conclusion after debate. As far as an answer to your question legalization would benefit our world tremendously. Marijuana can be used for industrial hemp which in nature is the strongest natural fiber. Many things can be made from it, clothing, paper, oil, etc. There is no recorded death attributed DIRECTLY to cannabis use. ever. It is so beneficial to humanity, it would not only help with problems in our environment, but it's legalization can also help improve crime rates. As another addition it can certainly be taxed to bring mass income annually for our dry economy. And where I'm from it certainly brings in close to 14 billion annually. (And it's illegal!) Throw it in the health care system, throw it towards education, or construction, you get where I'm going. All I can say is I hope the truth is being spread. I believe the truth is contagious. Question everything and blaze on.

all this is my opinion, usually you don't have to say that but i will at risk of being attack by some marijuana "expert". anyways. I don't smoke for medical reasons so i really don't care if its legalized or not, i'm not saying i don't care about the people who are trying to make it legal i fully support them, i just don't care either way. its going to be hard to regulate the sale and tax of weed distribution anyways, because no matter how available weed becomes people are still gunna grow plants in their rooms/closets/yards and sell them for their own profit and i would gladly go buy a half off my guy, then drive down to fuckin 7/11 and a buy a taxed most likely overpriced half of 7/11 strain... i don't think so people. government is going to take forever to legal marijuana because they cant yet figure out how to make a 100% profit from it. CANT FIND ME! CANT STOP ME!
