Im planning on doing shrooms for the first time. Can anyone tell me how the trip is? How long does it usually last? What do you recommend doing during the trip?

well...it comes on within 30 minutes to an hour. peak lasts about 3 or 4 hours and the whole trip probably about 6 or 7 (this is going by what i've done which has never been more than an 1/8th). You'll probably feel a little different the next day too, but nothing to worry about. In comparison to acid it is much less insanity causing, but still pretty crazy. Althought at the time it feels comletely out of control, it is alot more grounding than say lsd. basically it'll be like getting a bunch of different images, thoughts, ideas, sounds, and other crazy sensations sent into your brain without any real control on your part. after you might be a little tired. Its very "mind openning" i suppose, or most other people will probably tell you. to me it's kinda like salvia for 6 hours: fun in its own way, but leaves you with nothing in the end. acid's the way to go. but shrooms...good start

Yeah it comes on like within a half hour or so like the dude above me said. Its hella tight but you gotta stay in the right mindsets. Dont ponder on things that bother you and dont let yourself be intimidated by the come on because tell yourself that everybody feels like that when they eat shrooms (it helpes me when it gets intense). It will end. But thats just the bad (and its not even garunteed itll happen to you). I like the outdoors like most people do while shroomin and the outdoors are also good to settle you down if your tweakin. You probably wont be gettin sleep for around 6 hours but itll come afterwords. Also chill out to some music youd be surprised. When people do shrooms or acid they think of Listin to Jeferson Airplane, PinkFloyd,Tool(And dont get me wrong those are fucking awsome/chill/trippy bands to trip to) but to me almost anything I listend to was the shit!
