So here's the thing: I'm 23 years old and a virgin. Never been so much as kissed, never had a girl pursue me, always get rejected by the ones I was interested in. The isolation has been bothering me more and more over the years, and now it's got me to the point where I can't stop some harsh suicidal thoughts that I wish I wasn't having.

So, as much as I've always been against this notion, I'm thinking that maybe I should just make my first sex a simple financial transaction. But here's the kicker, and for the love of Buddha I really don't need people mocking the hell out of me right now: I'm not actually all that interested in the sex. I mean I want to have sex and orgasm and all that, but it's not about the physical gratification. This loneliness is totally crushing me inside, and what I want is the intimacy. I want a sexual experience where me and her can have a loving, close, intimate bonding where the pleasure is totally mutual, and it's not just about me, the customer, being gratified. I want the lovin' going both ways, and yes (laugh all you want) to get all the long cuddles after sex and just hold each other.

Is this even possible with a higher-end prostitute? I mean would they just laugh me out of the room, or look at me like I'm crazy? I'm already incredibly nervous about expressing any feelings to a girl I've actually had feelings for (though I have done it), so I'm pretty nervous for asking about that kind of service too. ima do my best to give you the most helpful advice i can, but bear in mind that judging from these last few threads of yours, you and i are two very different dudes. you are you; i lost my virginity when i was 14 years old and i am very social and outgoing... this could effect what im about to say in a number of ways, and im not sure if its a good or a bad thing. due to our differences maybe my advice may be totally offbase and unhelpful when you try to apply it to your life, or maybe itll be extremely helpful. i dunno. thats just my disclaimer.

so yeah, it is possible to "pay for a long moment where [you] can actually pretend [you're] loved and wanted." however, the question i think you should be asking is not whether its actually possible, but whether this is actually something that you want, something that will actually help your situation.

shit, now that i philosophize about it, i question whether it is actually possible for a prostitute to genuinely give you everything you want. she could act intimate, loving, caring, etc. and you could pretend like you were loved for that moment.... but i think a fundamental characteristic of love is genuineness. and when a prostitute is acting loving and a desperate virgin is pretending to be in love, it is obviously not genuine... so does that mean its not love in the first place? maybe.

thoughts of suicide of any kind are not ok, especially if they involve a method or plan. they should be taken seriously. you need to talk to someone dude. someone professional, not sure if there are free clinics/ mental health places around you???
IMO you're looking for answers in the wrong places. the illusion of intimacy isn't going to solve your problems of being lonely. you haven't found love but is paying to pretend you are any better? its not real man. if you're looking for someone to get off on then by all means go to vegas and let it happen but is that what you really want?
nothing wrong with being a virgin, when it happens it'll happen and if you aren't really interested in sex at the moment maybe its not the right time. and you can't force or mimick love. when you eventually find someone worth your time and energy then it makes the waiting worth it. but in the mean time
filling emotional voids with physical contact sounds more satisfying than it is.

i think if you can't get mental health counseling you gotta vent somewhere, friends, sf family wherever. i don't think that you're going to find what you're looking for in a prostitute, first times are often a lasting memory and is that really how you want to remember yours?

What you honestly need to do is join a gym, lose a few pounds if it applies to you, and stop giving a FUCK about what anybody other than yourself thinks. Go to the store (shit even the goodwill if you're not a man of money) and pick out some nice clothes that you feel better about yourself in. Have a party at your house. Throw yourself out there and see if anything/anybody catches. You can't live your whole life as a person that shelters them self. If I could say any one thing though; I would say that you should try and live more out-of-the-box, and you should do things that make you happy instead of holding yourself back because you're worried about what other people think.

I am all for going to a working girl to have a good time. The girls that are good at what they do make the experience one to remember. If you are young and inexperienced they can give a very helping hand and as some one in the room said you can get many forms of love making. Now I think you should try to have your first sexual encounter with some one in your life friend, girl friend, girl you met at a party some thing like that, but if you have not yet achieved this and feel that it is taking to long I say bring in a professional to get the job done. But if you are having such intense feeling of depression and suicide I think there is a deeper problem and I don’t think a prostitute is the answer to your problem. Having had desperate thoughts in the past I have done #2 and also agree. With nothing else to lose suicidal thoughts can be quelled by exhausting all possible options --including desperate ones.
