Wesley...I once was a victim of the friend zone, so here are some tips that I have for picking up women in almost any type of situation. If it's not your style then don't use it, but hopefully some of this will help
1. Make eye contace. yes I know what your thinking, "I make eye contact". Truth is you probrably don't, the best way to a womens heart is not just to look her in the eyes but to pierce her with such an enticing stare that when she sees you across the room she will immediatly come to you, if not for any other reason than just curiosity. Usually this works wonders because most men won't keep eye contact from across the room because they are insecure, and every girl loves a confident man.
2. Make her feel like she is the only girl in the world. This goes along with #1 in a sense. Don't let your eyes "wander", girls notice every movement in your eyes and they will check what your looking for. If at a party for example bring her a drink, talk to only her, and in essense just show you genuinely care for her. I'm not saying that you should follow her around the entire area. If she walks away though don't immediatly start chatting with some other broad. This just shows the first that you were only talking to her in a friendly way and that you weren't really interested in her.
3. Watch out for her friends. This is basically an extension on #2 in the sense that her friends will sometimes see you talking to her and immediatly want to come barging in on the conversation and ending up flirting with you too. Do not flirt back, smile nicely to her and go back to your conversation with her friend as if she almost wasn't there. If you don't the girl will just think your a player.
4.Avoid associating with cockblocks- you know the type. The guy who just will not leave the girl alone and constantly nags her until she caves and ends up leaving you to go have a drink with him. Don't worry about this guy taking her, she is already annoyed by him. Best advice, just tell the guy as nicely as possible to buzz off. I usually stick to one line..."Hey guy, I don't think she wants to"...This shows you have balls and that you enjoy her company.
5.Never, EVER put yourself down- you know what I'm talking about. All of you insecure guys always think that if you tell this girl a sob story she will like you better. I personally have never understood this. Be confident in yourself because this is the best way to make a girl feel comfortable around you. here's a few things I do.
-stand up straight
- Don't wear clothes with holes all in them (your trying to pick up girls not build a house)
-avoid black pants ( I know it sounds weird but black pants show every little thing that gets on them and trust me...she will see it)
6. Ovoid Confrontation- Yah there is always some sort of confrontation going on wherever you are. Arguments, fights, etc. avoid these things. If someone trys to start shit with you either tell them that "you don't want to fight me" in your most confident voice or talk them down. The first usually works because no guy knows what to do when someone says that. It seems to baffle them for some reason and while they are standing there dumb-founded simply take the girls hand, smile to the guy, and ask the girl if she would like to go with you somewhere. (hint, hint- this is a great way to close)
