How many Watts is too many...don't want to draw attention

Hello All, Getting things back up and running after a few years...
Now that I own my living arrangement... I now worry... always thought it would have been the other way around....rented...never worried...

How many watts are too many to be running in a single occupant multi bedroom townhouse.


The whole closet probably amounts to 900 - 1000 watts (800 just in lights)

what item or items in your house uses that much... incase questioned about the extra useage??

1000 watts per bedroom...............um any questions tell them you have a multi tower computer set-up. Cause i know my tower is pulling like 800-1200 watts

the one or two times i've talked with my power company i made sure they heard me say i am running an electric kiln during the cooler months of the year...also included it in a letter i wrote to them when sending an over-payment to cover a few months of future bills. but if 1kw is all you're running i wouldn't even think about it. a decent stereo or computer can easily use up that kind of wattage...
