are sylvania lamps known to be inconsistent in color output?

I have 2 250 bt28... they are the same bulb but one is visibly white/yellower. is this pretty common and should i worry about it?

If they both have the same amount of usage id say something isnt right. My guess is that the brighter one will be the one that works best.
