Does anybody know how many plants you can grow under a 400 wt high pressure sodium light?

many threads on this question already.

This is how I figure it to be, 100 watt per plant so 400 watt = 4 plants. Now thats with a plant being vegged until alternating nodes appear about 4 to 6 weeks. If growing strait from 12/12 you could grow more in the same space. But anything outside of the 3x3 light footprint will suffer...take care..

you could always go SOG and have more plants than 4......but that tends to get crowded and not every plant gets the same love
