im startin mi first grow because where i live the smoke is shit ive bought 3 cfl lights at 75 watts each .. ive got them setup in mi grow room i have 3 female plants in the making will they be enough or should i invest in a few more for extra light and heat ?

If youre serious about a long term commitment to growing your own, get a HID lite. For just three girls, a 400w will be enough, but go as big as you can handle as far as electricity usage and heat control. A 1000w is the ultimate and will offer the fastest growth and cover a larger area. Heat with any HID is a factor that needs to be considered. Even the smallest HID's will need good heat control and ventilation.

For a new grower, just getting your feet wet is the 1st step, and using CFL's to begin is good experience to help you get started. They will provide enough light to make them grow and you will be able to go thru the wants and needs of MJ. Its not a hard plant to grow, but it has some fairly narrow requirements needed in order to get the best from them. You will need to go thru some of those to gain valuable experience. At least with CFL's you wont need to deal with heat issues right away, and you can concentrate on meeting the plants envrionmental needs.

Pick out one or two veteran growers from this site, or another, that grow using your method, and sorta follow them around and see how they do it. Most will be happy to help. Good luck with it.
