self intro and bowl pic bic tutorial

my name is rockerton

im a long time stoner but this is my first post so here goes:

tutorial on making your new bic a bowl pic bic:



plain bic with child safety


pry up child safety and guard prongs



remove child safey completely and set aside.



remove metal guard next



using pliers grab child safety by flat part/pronged part:



bend safety away from its little prongs:



next squeeze metal guard so it will fit back on without latching it on completely:


insert the new pic with flat part up and tiny prongs/teeth down:


now latch the top down until properly in place(very snug, sometimes unlightable):


next straighten to your liking and heat up pic:

while still hot use something to press down on the guard to set the pic in place. you do want it to be a little bit jiggly so as not to jam gas mechanism.

next check for jamming by repeatedly lighting and pressing button to listen for gas escaping.


mechism jams up far less often when pic is to a side instead of right off the back:


and now your boring old bic can pick, turn, stir, flip, pack , and even scrape a little, without blackening the bottom of your bic, no switching hands or tools, or black fingertips:
