I am an avid activist and medical marijuana patient in Colorado!
I started using cannabis when I was 18 for stomach aches. Then I realized you could use it for pain! I have scoliosis, and have been taking vicodin and oxycontin since I was 14yrs old.
So when I moved to Colorado a little over 2 years ago, I found out you could use it for that, slowly stopped taking pills. Then slowly started Smoking good chronic to replace the pills.
I am from Texas....There is no good chronic there unless you grow it yourself!
So now I have gotten to a point where I can use pain killers only on hard days or for emergencies.
I speak out at events and have been involved with the passing of 2 initiatives here in Colorado.
I love my beautiful HERB!
I am also a producer! I am working on a new project! It will be HUGE!!! Stay in touch! Stoner Forums, Weed Watch and Kopproductions.com will be keeping you informed!!
WELCOME to the forum.....I'm glad you found us and keep on fighting the good fight to legalize it. I am considering Colorado as one of the states I might move to, mainly because of their medical use laws....I have plenty of "ailments" that would qualify.
As for scoliosis, as a massage therapist I must ask, have you tried massage therapy? Personally I recommend it to those with chronic and lifetime back pain because after a few massages, they really DO feel better, it wont cure their ailment but it will help very much. You might especially want to look into something called Myofascial Release, its a non invasive form of therapy in case a regular massage is too deep of a touch. For Scoliosis I would say a good hour long massage with deep tissue focus on lower back every 3 to 4 weeks would help a lot.
Either way, keep on smokin!

I love it, it is the only thing that has helped!
The new show will premier in January 2008 Stay tuned for further info! It will be GREAT!!
I slid on a patch of black ice yesterday and slid into a brick wall at 55mph! Air bag came out, didn't feel to good. Thank goodness no other cars plowed into me on the highway, they whisked by me as I slid across 3 lanes. I couldn't do anything but watch!
It was crazy! I am pretty sore, the airbag hit me in the stomach and chest, while my head flung on top of it! Scary!
I just hope this doesn't make my back issues worse!
