More news coming soon.... but DAMN im glad to be typing to you all. After a horrible experience that is continuing at the hands of the justice system in NW COLORADO. I feel like the world has stopped on me, and thousands of others in my position for this one particular cause, and I will not let marijuana reform go if its the last thing i do, and i hope others in the same position feel this way too. Its the only way we WILL change insane laws where marijuana charges could land you up to 30 years in Prison, like my situation.
I will get some more news as soon as i can spill it..... INCLUDING possibly telling our story in Cannabis Culture. Marc Emery has ALWAYS BEEN supportive of JDR, and every mj cause ive ever talked with him about. A TRUE soldier and freedom fighter he is, i cant say enough about Marc...BUT
Bottom line is this, John Doe was involved in a RAID by a COLORADO Drug Task Force named ACET, formerly named GRAMNET. You may have heard of these people and the wasteful group because THEY broke the law and got away with it. The group was caught spending taxpayers dollars campaigning AGAINST Colorado's Amendment 44 last year that would have legalized marijuana for adults in this state. They still have not fully complied with SAFER's open records request regarding this matter btw. The task force raided our legal grow, and now patients are without medicine, and The John Doe Radio Show is stalled for new shows because of all the computers and equipment seized by this task force. They took EVERYTHING, and could care less. I'll have more to say about this in a sec here but we NEED your help.

This situation has made me even more convinced that we are brutally, and purposely punishing innocent people for so called crimes that most of the nation agrees are not crimes. Live and let live. And lets concentrate on the real problems at hand. Like getting proper treatment for drug users across the board. And not sending them to jail to become tortured, and hardened criminals. Because torture is spending time in a place you just don't deserve, like the thousands and thousands of people behind bars for marijuana related offenses right now. Are they really the violent criminals the justice system feels they are? You have to tell some people this answer, and tell them over and over again, and its sad that some believe they are still violent criminals.
Its up to you to change that thinking, and the insane laws we have created.
And its not that hard to make a difference, even if you don't think you can.

emotions flare when the drug war hits close to home. but we adapt, overcome, and stay stoned. we look forward to days where the persecution towards us and our plant will cease to be.
...it is a downright damn shame that in a society where alcohol and tobacco are so prominent, their safer, stonier alternative is so fucking demonized.
