Stoner Forums - A Marijuana & 420 Friendly Community

I am seriously interested in trying (again) and growing cannabis. When I was little and mom took me to the movies and there would be some patron in the audience who would always "light Up" and the smell would permeate the atmosphere. Of course I'm dating myself, that was back in the days when people would do almost anything at the cinema regardless of children being present. My mother could not take the smell of it and would get headaches. But I on the other hand liked the funky smell and was ashamed to admit it. As I grew older I was into the "drugs er bad umkay?" thing. One day my curiosity won out. It was weird how I got the opportunity to try it. My mother had a small bag of it hidden between the flower pots in the window sill. She does not do drugs so why is this here. I did not question her about it and left the bag alone. Over the weeks I kept thinking about the bag and wondered what it would feel like to have some. Finally I broke down and went home from class (College-not grade school!) determined to find out what the big freaking deal was about. Well when I finally held the little baggie in my hand I wondered how I was going to try it because I was too embarrassed to go to the corner store to get bamboo paper and then the "Ah hah" moment came, "I'll use the coal used for incense!" When I lit the coal I paused a minute and thought of all the things that I heard cannabis could do to you like the world famous gateway drug theory, amotivational syndrome etc, etc.. Shyly I went ahead and put a little on the hot coal and caught the sent of that familiar smell I secretly enjoyed. But I still was afraid to inhale deeply. Again I broke down and said to myself "If you really want to know you're going to have to INHALE IT PERIOD! Now stop being a pussy and do it! After I dropped the second piece on to the coal and inhaled the smoke deeply I waited and wondered what would happen. A half an hour later I thought someone would have had to peel me off of the ceiling. There was a strong tingling all over my body that I just did not know how to handle at the time. How sad when I look on that memory in hind sight. But here's what is interesting to me, after I put the bag back amongst the plants I thought about it again over the weeks and wondered if something extra was put in it that gave me that feeling or maybe I just did not know how to relax when the "high" happened. My temptation broke through again and I went to find the little baggie hiding between the plant pots and it was gone. I was quite dissappointed and somewhat relieved at the same time. Years later after I had confessed to my mother I asked her what she did with the bag and how did she get it in the first place. She said someone dropped it on the street and she picked it up. When asked what she did with she said she sold it to a one of the guys in the neighborhood that happened to have a love of cannabis. He actually came up to her one day and asked if she had anymore. Well after long and extensive research into this controversial little thing called cannabis I really don't see it as a drug. Too many things can be done with it-food, fuel, fabric and fun. And let's not forget medicine. My only issue is that I don't want to be bothered with any drug dealers or someone who wants to put other kinds of "shit" in it to get you hooked on some thing else you had no intention of being on. I'd like to buy the seeds on line but I am also afraid that customs will confiscate it and then come knocking on my door. I don't want any of these nosy effing government workers kicking in my door because I have an effing bong or one damn plant growing in the closet. Who are they anyway? The thought police? Of I forgot to mention that years ago my best friend's rasta boyfriend gave me a whole bag of seeds to plant for myself (I don't know what strain) and after a long contemplation and talk with my mother I flushed them down the toilet. I could kick myself. Anyway I need to get started again and this time I'm taking the plunge. Any advice?

I can not believe I just read all of that. I must be bored. First off, welcome to the forums. You'll like it here. Second, just don't make a big deal about it. I've never grown, but I personally would never order seeds online. And don't tell anybody you aren't going to sell it to. there are a lot of reliable seed banks under the seeds and strains section of the forum. There are also many reliable ones in any issue of high times as well. Or any weed mag for that matter. the one i use is marijauna-seeds.nl Never had a problem with customs and i got my order in less than a week. good luck on your hunt and high and welcome
