So sorry to hear about Lost Creek Lake!!! I too lived above Lost Creek Lake in the summer---lol-- I was the guy in the 22 ft cabin cruiser up the east fork---ever been to that moss medow camp spot with the firepit above it?--I had a huge bucksnin log I used as a dock--caught lots of fish there including Browns and loved to smoke them--morel mushroms right there too --I have friends in Butte Falls and Prospect---and Doug Ness at the marina came across like and asshole but was pretty kewl. I remeber sleeping on the boat when the fire was going-----whole sky was lit up---Family used to camp every summer at Richards Grove---but mostly just get down to Southern Humboldt for the Abalone in SHelter Cove----Rember the black and mexican lesbians that lived across from the Fork?---I took then fishing |

Seen it many times, I vaguely remember the Lesbians, not sure about that, LOL. I'm not sure about the moss meadow camp spot either. Would love to see it though. Directions, please? I have alot of family, friends and associates in the Upper Rogue area. Heck, I'm originaly from Trail. Yes, i'm a Trail girl. I'm almost scared to tell you my nick-name. Because if you knew it, you'ld know who I am. I'm what people call a "Legend of Their Time" LOL. Speaking of Morel mushrooms, I picked about 2 pounds of them in my back yard this last season. They love it under the cedars for some reason, YUMMO! Ditto on Doug Ness. He sure had a hard outer shell, but once you had it cracked, he wasn't so bad. Last time I slept out on a boat at night was up above Ketchikan, Alaska. One of those little Islands called "Bell Island" John Wayne would vacate there as well. It's a Resort out in the middle of no where. You can only get there by plane or boat. Pools filled with Hot Springs. Waking up to black bear outside your boat on the banks. Pretty cool! Aww, those were the days. Thanks for the connection. TTYL, Motherearth

Sounds ass backwards to me---------
You go past Mill Creek Falls on the way to my spot---it's about 4 miles up from Peyton Bridge--all the way up the right fork--I guess there used to be a really good salmon hole there before the dam--about 30 ft deep---------you can only get up there when the lake is full
I used to be on a sodtball team with Rod, Harvey and his brother Heime from Trail--the brothers were Mexican from Michoacán--I think Harvey went to Federal Prison for growing

A bunch of us gals would head up there on day trips. Bouteller's ol' lady Bobby and a few other Bad Girls from Trail.

I know all of them. Rod (Hot Rod, LOL) and Harvey are friends of mine, but I lost contact after I got married in 92 and started a family. I married my husband right out of prison. We met before he went to do the last tail of his time (14 months) Arkansas Prison. Booo! I've been out of the loop, so to speak. I know Harvey is doing time. I seen Mona about 4 years ago. She told me his release date but can't remember when it is now. Rod, last time I knew, still lives in Trail. Heime I believe is in Prospect still. Small, small world indeed!
