I can only speak for myself. I haven't left MP. I have made many friends there, and don't intend to leave.
I have yet to find the ideal community...if anyone has discovered nirvana, please let me know  I "met" someone who pointed it out this board to me, checked it out, liked the tone and respect people show for one another, the overall maturity of the posts, so I decided to sign up.
Never have limited myself to one board, and don't intend to start. I hope MP stays around for a long, long time.

Sage, I didn't care much for the atmosphere at Market Place. That's why I'm over here. People there would complain about all the rif-raf or "intruders" (as I saw one person call them) coming around, but at the same time I think they got great satisfaction tearing into poor unsuspecting fools wandering into the "Market Place" looking to score or sell. I've never seen people gang up like that since junior high school, and this was the grown-up board. It was like tag-team judgement and humiliation. There are people over there that make imnothim look like a pretty nice guy. | |

I think every site has it's own pace and rhythm. Each is unique. Some will like it here and others will not. Everyone has to find the site they are comfortable with. But let's not spoil Shootist's fine intro thread discussing those differences.

I’ve never even heard of Market Place so I wouldn’t know. I’m pretty happy where I’m at. The last thing I need is another forum. I can’t keep up with the ones I’m on now.
