Hi everyone. My name is 'scaredstraight' and I've been a recovering stoner and dry for over 10 years.

This, I intend to change!

My company no longer does random screenings (due to expense) and I ready to ROLL!

Problem is, I know no one. Even worse, the people I'm around are straight arrows, cops, etc. I work for an alarm/security company in the heart of the midwest, and mix with the WRONG CROWD.

All my old friends have either gone straight, religious, or even worse...NEO-CONS!

I am here, and also at the Grow Report and Dopefiend.co.uk.

I'm trying to seek out some old friends back home, but also keeping an eye out around current home for safe sources.

In the mean time, I'm gettin' back into the mindset.

36 and starting over...Oh, what a long strange trip it's been!

10 years.You're going to get fucked up when you smoke.Good luck finding someone out their for a connect shouldn't be too hard to find.Oh and welcome to the forums

Unless they're a bunch of psychos with K9, SWAT, and narcotics. These are unfortunately...the ones.

Used to know some that had it, but I don't even know where to find them anymore.

The last major connection I had (a chef, former college mate) died of a heart attack a few years ago. I'd go over to his apartment, walk in, and sit down with a few fully uniformed cops in a circle. FREAKED ME OUT, the first time I walked in to that...thought he had been busted, and I was next. Couldn't enjoy the buzz the whole time I was there...just felt cold! Was even funnier to find out that the towns mayor, DA, and chief were all supplied by him. I never worried again while I was in school.
