tons of grow questions

i know all the materials i need to grow and stuff and me and a friend popped over to wal mart to see what they had. i found some fertilizer but it wasnt exactly the same as i needed. does anyone know where i can find a decent fertilzer (N-P-K) like a 20 or 30 for N, and then i need a fertilizer for flowering as well.

also i need a metal halide or high pressure sodium lamp, does anyone know where i can get those ??(not online) i live in a pretty decent sized town and can drive to sacramento or the bay if needed. also i ned to know where to get something that will allow me to raise and lower my light.

if anyone can answer any of these it would be a great help.

Home Depot or Lowes... believe me... they have everything you need. From HPS to MH. You can build aeroponics to hyroponic and soil systems. If they dont have the NPK you are looking for go to your local nursery like Armstrong. Hope that helps.

you definitely don't need 30- of nitro...

get 10-10-10. mix in with soil. Or better yet. Buy Organic Chioice by Miracle grow. it is their "new" organic soil. works great. Last soil grow I used Baccto, because that is what the 'ol lady brought home. I got some great plants. If you are not going with fancy hydro nutes, then buy a soil with time release ferts...(not my usual recommendation, but it works) that will make your 1st grow much easier, and you will not have to fertilize until flowering.

It would be a good idea for you to do some reading in basic growing, and soil boards. that will get you on track.

for the rasising and lowering of lights i attach chains to the top of the hood of the light and have hooks in the roof of wherever your grow space is.
easy to adjust and cheap to do
