I have this plant going (that has its own thread ), and she is about six weeks old, i think she is outgrowing her porcelin pot (3/4 of 1 sqft) of dirt im guessing. I see this little root dangleing from the drain hole in the bottom center of pot. So i took this tuperwear container and fed a air pump hose in the side and punctured the hose on the inside of the tuperwear so air could bubble. i duct taped the container to make it light proof and then put tw0 4 in pieces of wood parrallel going accross the container, by the end of it i duct taped everything in place and put the plant on top of the resevoir which i filled with some water and week nutes...plz tell me your thoughts...

Cant see no pic's but from what I read you want to promote growth from the bottom?
This does work in theroy alough having one root to work with wont effect growth much.
Hope this helps.

It's a great theory to have and start with but for the system to be a bit more effective, you can make your own hydro setup at home for 8-12 plants for about 35-40 bucks if you find the right stuff at the right places. you can always experiment afterall thats how weve come to figure everything else out about the

you need to get more of the roots in the water solution and air bubbler, I have mine in 2 1/2 qt containers 1 in each with air stones under roots and they are growing great,
