Need to calibrate my PH meter

what around the house has a steady PH level that can be used to calibrate my meter

I ran out of test fluid... I'm guessing some thing around here has to have 7.0

Nothing I know of bro. I got some PH calibration solution for less than $5.

There is no way to know what your tap water PH is without checking it as well. Ive had it range from 6.0 at 1 house to 8.0 at another. It just depends on where it is coming from, etc...

The cheap hydrogen peroxide is about 4.2, close enough for calibration till you get the cal fluids, which you should do they are cheap. Also the 4.0 cal fluid is good storage fluid for your meter.

yeah, I dont think using your tap water is a good calibration solution because it varies depending on where your at. I second the notion of 4.0 cal. solution also, because its more acidic and will keep your probes clean.( if your meter can cal at 4.0 also, some meters can only be cal'ed at one range so check yours). good luck man!
