Stoner Buck$$: 165.69 | What kinda of system are you running? Like to know what kind of experience everyone has with the different setups?
I just finished my first hydro grow running 4 bio-buckets. Didn't weigh the finish product but I had 8 quart mason jars full. I hope my second run will be a lot better as the first was mostly guess work. next.... |

Stoner Buck$$: 778.66 | Re: What kinda of system are you running? I have nft. drip, dwc, drip to waste and dutch leach trays...both for commercial type set-ups.
8 jars maybe 1/2 lb. give or take.
What do you need to know. Will be glad to help. There are certain guidelines to follow, then consistency is the key. |

ebb & Flow is best for rooting, and early veg...herbs, and leafy veggies such as lettuce, spinach...etc.
Many do, grow Pot in Ebb & Flow systems, but E & F is not the "optimum" Choice.
Drip produces as good or better then "all" other method...period. Gives you a lot more control. Less environmental root issues; Also. Hope this helps. Later. lw |

Stoner Buck$$: 778.66 | Re: What kinda of system are you running? Blue fish...Sorry I missed your question. It might be too late. I don't necessarily use rockwoll. I feel it is not cost effective. I use hydroton, perlite, and pine bark; possibly mixed with a bit of sand.
Hydroton: heat explanded clay rocks. the best IMO
commercially I use perlite in 3g poly grow bags, and I am trying the pine bark/sand mix. This is used in south Africa for the most part.
drip lines can go to any plants in any type system. I hope you catch my reply. Peace latewood.
p.s. Highseeker. That would be an awesome set-up. later.lw |

Stoner Buck$$: 778.66 | Re: What kinda of system are you running? well, I am thrilled I could help you. I had great mentors myself, Zandor included. Most of growing is common sense, and daily attention to detail.
So your weed tastes good now; Huh?
LOL Great check ya later. Peace lw |

Stoner Buck$$: 204.89 | Something different... Im trying/using exp.clay pellets like soil in closed 1qt pot for 8 weeks from seedling.Hand feed on pellets w/pump up sprayer. Works great (on my first 2 grows), plants are VERY happy. But at week 8 I may have to go w/automated system.Hard to keep up with feeding.I should maybe flush at week 4 this way. Great way if u want to foliare feed ,cause the pots are mobile .Just pick it up ,take it to a 'spray area' and spray away.
SAVES ELECTRICITY and QUIET!
The bottom ~1 third of roots can stay submerged, just not stagnet.
Current grow (#3), my nutes will be like 1third formula. |
