I have a ebb and flow set up that feeds 3 times a day with BC nutes Technaflora recipe for sucess.1000w hps light hangs approx 32 inches from the tops of my plants. Room temp is 75 to 80 degrees. Plants leaves are curling down looking like a claw. Leaf edges are curling down as well. PH is 5.9 to 6.0 monitored daily. No matter what corrections i make nothing seems to stop the curling under.Any Ideas?

are you vegging? or flowering ? if your in veg, I remember back when I did ebb & flow i would get the same problem if I had my PH over 5.5. try that out, maybe thats all it is , is a PH issue. if not, then its probibly an overdose, so what are your PPM's?

I'm in my 6th week of flowering, mostly the leaves coming off the buds seem to be curling down along with the edges curling down almost like a cupping. Everything is fine on the vegging side, it happens when i switch over to flowering about 2 weeks into flowering it starts. I have also tried a drip system under the same set up and get the same results, curling. I have raised and lowered my nutes , cut back and added feedings still the same problem. I measured my ppm's today and they were 1885 I did notice the top half of my plants leafs are dark green. I do agree with you that it could be a ph problem.

Your running my system bongboy, Ebb & Flow, Technaflora Nutes, 1K light etc. Your running my system.
Check your ppm daily, add nothing and check it daily for 3 days straight. That is the critical aspect many hydro growers miss, the change in PPM. Ideally you want this number to stay constant, if the number goes up the nutes are too rich, if the number goes down nutes are too weak.
Running my 5th genetic line with Technaflora and to honest I've not found one to run consistantly over 1200ppm and that was just for 3 weeks during mid flower. "The Claw" as you are discribing it is caused by excessive nitrogen in your resv. Drop your nutes down to 1000ppm and flood 4 times lights on, once lights off and you will see your plants perk back up.

peace. | I flood one time during the dark cycle, some will say it's nots necessary as plants rest during the dark but it works for me. If nothing else it exchanges the gases in the hydroton and brings in fresh O2 for the roots. That's one point a lot of folks miss when running ebb & flow, dissolved oxygen in the nutrient solution is not that critical compared to DWC. With E&F the roots are only submerged in water for short periods of time, this flood period pushes all the expelled plant gases out of the medium and then it's replaced by fresh air (O2) when the cycle drains.

Thanks for the explanation but when they are in dark what is the use?
Fresh co2 in the dark,I dont see how that helps, please explain.
Hope you are well!
