Re: best nutes

hi.......i use canna in a wilma 8 had no problems with it just needs to be mixed correct or a bit under strength so you dont damage ya babies i use a 100ltr water butt for storage and 2 20ltr buckets for mixin nutrients most liquid nutes come in 10/15 mls measurements so quite easy to do i always mix at night and leave to stand 6/8 hrs before checkin PH, if you can try getting ya water from a fish (aquatic) shop this is filtered and completely nutrient free then you are in charge ov what ya feed hope this has been some help.

Some are better than others in their source elements,in truth they are only as good as the person using them,ie,expierance or logic.
I like GH's Flora series, but use very little.
I also like House an Garden,a lil more expensive but worth it.
Heard alot of good things about Metrop.
Hope this helps.

peace.

Re: best nutes

It say's that because some elements cause ph to rise and some to drop, getting them dailed in and stable is the hard part.
peace.

so would it be worth it to get the nutes? I thinking of either sticking with AN A&B or switching to the cutting edge stuff its a lot cheaper to run than an.

Re: best nutes

All nutrient manufacturers get their base product from only a couple of suppliers. So they are using the same stuff!!!!!!

In my experience ANY good quality nutrient will have all the necessary minerals for a great grow. That's macro and micro. It should also have a buffering agent to make it PH stable.
I use an organic hydro nutrient, more expencive but I like the taste.

A good nutrient is only one of many principiles that make a grower, a grower.

Re: best nutes

I use QuickGrow hydroponic nutrient it is 100% fully water soluble without any residue! And chemically identical to any top brand-name hydroponic fertilizer. Just because a fertilizer has the word, "HYDROPONIC" on the label, it does not mean you should pay a fortune for it. QuickGrow is a generic brand, check it out at http://QuickGrowNutrients.com They sell 25lb bags for $120 bucks.
