I don't know the fuss here. You scrape your piece, get all the res in to a pile compact it in to a ball. I like to roll my res in some ash to keep it solid. Throw it in a bowl. A good res ball last a very long while. I've never gotten a headache from smoking res either, i can't taste it and the high is the same for me. I used to smoke res all the time. There my lungs. I'll smoke what i please.

dude im sorry but fuck wut these peeps are saying...i get it...if u need to smoke and all u gots resin u just put it in your pipe....you gotta light it for a long time so that u will get a hit. fuck people its just resin...ya i never get as high from resin as bud but ya thats pretty much how you do it.

That is exactally what I do. I cannot taste it either, maybe I'm just used to it. And I NEVER get a headache. The high is somewhat different because of the many generations in the res (For me anyways, because I smoke alot in my pipe before I clean it).

I know how to make a res jay, but that needs tinfoil.. PM me if you wanna know how to do that.. I'll warn you now though, it's not a very nice taste if you don't have a bit of green or some tobacco to mix it with, mostly paper other wise.

Yep, thats a knifer, you can do that with your weed to. It's a good way to smoke a little bit of your bud at a time, but still get really high

Although I like to break the bottoms out of a glass bottle, a vodka bottle or something, and put it in the freezer and let it chill. That makes the smoke really cold and easy to smoke.

leave it to a New Zealander to get it right! if you do wanna do resin your aware it ain't as good as bud, but you take what you can get. Spots or Hotknives are the best way to do them. Yes you can chuck it in your bong/pipe and smoke as usual but it doesn't light as well so spots work better. Solid advice i got from an older stoner from Te Rapa

idk how your having trouble.. load the bowl, light the sides, toke.

(just fyi resin is the gooey tar looking stuff on the inner walls of the pipe itself. In the bowl where you smoke it thats just ass powder.)
don't be reduced to resin tho.
Think about it... if youre fiending enough for thc that youre actually about to smoke black tar scraped from the inside of a piece of metal or glass too get a single nasty ass hit that'll make you feel worse than before in about an hour.....
maybe you should just push through the sleeplessness and quit for like three days. it'll bring your tolerance down, (better high) you might have money for greens, and the sleep thing will go away. just try not to hit it right before bed EVERY day. once in a while for sleep-aid is fine.
what works for sleep for me when im dependant on weed for it is trying NOT to sleep.
(also try to get a guy who will sell to you at like eight or nine pm. if they do that, they prolly do five sacks.)

The best way to smoke resin is by using knife hits. The problem with smoking resin is that it contains moisture and that makes it burn slow or it melts and drips out of the bowl - so sometimes it's hard to get a good hit. That's why the knife hits work best cuz they produce the most smoke in the least time...very efficient. If you use a piece, then take your ball of resin and flatten it into a pancake. Basically you want to incease the surface area as much as possible so when you light up, more resin is burning at once. To make sure the resin doesn't melt away put a tiny piece of weed in the bowl or if you don't have any weed (duh thats why youre smoking resin) use a tiny piece of stem to cover the bowl hole. (Actually if you can use the cashed ash of an old resin bowl to stop the res from melting thru too.)

I've never heard of resin being bad for you but it does give me a gnarly caugh the next day. Resin is the same stuff that goes into your lungs, only youre scraping out of a piece and smoking it. Kinda wierd and not very much fun.

scrape it all out, if its dry pack it like weed (USE A SCREEN THOUGH!). if its wet put it into a ball, and try to get some dry resin or even ash mixed in so it isnt pure goop.

the high isnt the best, but if you've been smoking quality weed and opium (this is NICE!) you get pretty stoned. I only get a headache when i smoke the really minimal residue that is in the piece after you have recently scraped it. if you dont scrape it often and then scrape the bowl chances are you'll get more chunks of resinated weed than anything else.

and as far as the bad stuff going into your lungs...i think any of the bad stuff will just turn back into resin. the THC and CBD is what i think makes it back into your lungs, but i think its a higher percentage CBD regardless of what you've been tokin on

a smoker man and if u wanna smoke resin then this is what u do man scrap ur bowl piece and whipe the resin on a piece of tin foil then put a piece of a straw or tube in ur mouth only has to be like a 4 or 3 inch piec of straw then hold it near resi and take a lighter and ligh under foil in resin spot and suck up the smoke man i do this and i get high realy high if ur woried about head dace take a few asprin or somin afte ru do it and u wont ge head ace good luck to ya

yeh, use a pipe and put a double screen in the bowl. try to put a small space between the two screens

the cakey dry resin you get near the tops of bowls. this stuff is primo - I learned that the hard way. the juicier it gets... it wants to drip onto the second screen before actually turning cherry

nooo i'ts not a palma but if you ain't been high in a day or so. you will get stoned.

I just smoked some resin after not being high for... 3 months.
I just put it in a bowl with a screen. Lit up, had as much smoke as a bowl of weed would.
Taste it harsh, coughed a little. But I'm high as fuck.

And I've never head hurtingness.
