I have some green buds I want to try. I don't want to wait 2 weeks for it to dry, etc... I just want to sample it. What is a good quick dry method?

Oven? Microwave? What?

I was gonna say the microwave, just jokingly, but it might work. Ive heard people say nuking your bud also activates inactive cannabinoids but who knows..

Maybe a food dehydrator would be your best bet, if you gotta one of those laying around the house

I use the microwave for those cold nights and your out of smoke,and my plants are taller.Than me and full of buds.I would look for a small bud becuese you dont want the best bud in their.The bud loses alot of thc and taste but it will do its job.Olso flip like about every half min.Or it will catch fire.I hope this would one day help a you........

i have some plants growin and to dry then out how would i do that cause i live in detroit so it gets cold as fuck, and i wanna kno what would work best in the da house

I 'heard' that blowdryers for hair work fairly well. Never tried it though.

smaller buds usually dry up to smokable status after 2-5 days(depending on bud size/airflow/heat), where you getting that 2 week number from¿

anything else you do is going to be a very bad representation of the bud. if you must, put it in a oven/toaster oven at its lowest setting.

but in marijuana the way to get the best is alot of the time, time lol the more you rush it the more quality you lose

I am with tokin & mike on this one.I had a small toaster oven with a keep warm setting.Let it heat up first,then but your bud in there.Works fine,the back of the monitor or t.v. works also........

Im not tryin to be funny but weed can be dried in microwave without too much damage if needed.

Place weed in a small box,wet newpaper and wrap box in damp newpaper,pop in microwave,then turn on for 30 sec's.Repeat untill dry.

The damp newspaper serves as a buffer against the waves and the bud is dry and smokable,a lil harsh but effective.

I would only ever do this if really nesassary as in no way is it the same as properly dryed weed.

Ive Seen It Work In Both The Oven And Microwave. Of Course Its Not Curing It And Its Not Gonna Taste Good Lol But If You Wanna Smoke It And Are Desprite yes It Will Work. is It Worth It NO!!!! Just Wait It Will Be Worth It!

a couple concerns about wet newspaper? i'd worry about the ink and the bud mating in an unnatural way and then getting cancer from smoking the now ink injected molecularly damaged microwave nug....though i'd still do it anyway bc weed is weed is weed is weed

and knowing me, putting newspaper in the microwave, regardless of moisture level, would probably spell f-i-r-e (and not the good kind)

The bud should be in cardboard,the newspaper damp not wet.The damp paper acts as a shield against the harmful rays.
It protects the weed.
Also a water cure as said above is very effiecient,no smell from the buds a pluss for travelling etc.

In a pinch to quick dry a bud for taste testing, I use a quart mason jar. Put the bud in the jar with a couple dry cinammon sticks and wrap lightly with a tissue. I put the jar in the sun and monitor the moisture in the top of the jar. WHen the water beads up on top inside of the sealed jar , I remove the bud, wipe the jar dry and change the tissue paper. I repeat this through the day. Then I leave the bud in the jar sealed overnight and repeat for another half a day doing the moisture removal thing. I checked the bud with my scope and saw no deterioration of the trichomes and the smoke was or is nowhere near the harsh taste of microwaved fresh bud.
