hey hey this is probably week 3 for my plants or maybe even 4 im nt quite sure. i did have my plants in a window because my boyfriends parents told me that their plants grew really well in the window of the room they were in. So they spent most of their time in that window until yesterday i brought them into my room where it is slightly warmer and i also put a light above them and alsohave a fan going on the lowest speed not too close to them. my plants are getting bigger i have 4 of them i did start out with 7 but 3 died. i almost lost one too i noticed the leaves starting to sag a little but the plant looks to be getting better ever since i put it under the lamp.they are still too small for me to tell if they are male or female but hopefully soon i can tell one of my plants is at least 7-9inches tall now (it grew really fast)and my others are about 4-6 inches.i water my plants everyday when i get up and when i go to bed if anyone reads this and thinks im doing something wrong please inform me. this is my first time and i kind of have no clue what im doing. i did do some reading about it but other than that i have no clue. these are the pics of my plants they are definately like a week or two old so i dont have any recent pics yet i still have yet to find my camera
get mor perlite into your soil or u could haver overwatering problems..............

U need to check out the FAQ page & do alittle homework if you are gonna be serious about growing.See I am not a serious grower ask anyone who has seen my grow.
There are a bunch of people here making this a good place to start.Nobody is gonna walk u threw the whole process unless they getting some action.So do youeself a favor & read up a bit then ask question's.
perlite is located in your local home depot.ask for it !!!!!!!!!!!!! if you have soggy soil u are overwatering..................good luck & maybe check out the Grow Report......

Can I give the action and have them grow the palnt...it would be easer that way.

stonergurl, i was reading up about growing for 5 years before even sprouting a seed, u can never read up too much, i still made mistakes.
Like meg said check the FAQs and zandor's grow report.
i would start using some fert. 1/10th mix. and make sure you have your light source close enough to the top of the plants(about 2-4 in). like the other said you need something that can drain water better. add some perlite. i hope that at the bottom of your pots you have an inch or so of gravel and holes for watter to drain out of. if i were in your shoes i would water once a day b/c you have an all soil mix. what is the temp of your room? it should be about 75 F
well you see the people i live with (my boyfriend and his parents)already had plants before but they are always at work and they just keep telling me just water it and put it in the window so i had them in the window for a bit and the room is pretty warm a little warmer than room temp and i was watering my plants once a day but the guy i got the seeds from told me to water it once every week which is why im asking you guys because everyone is telling me different things and i have already been to a bunch of sites and read up on growing i even read about it before i got my hands on any seeds but i never once saw anything mention perlite the guy that gave me the seeds also told me to get miracle grow and put some in with my plants but i dunno so far is so good i had one of the 4 that were growing almost die on me but i got it back to life so, so far so good but i will give updates. also i cant find my camera again i have awsome pics of my plants yay but i cant post them until i get my cam back neways buh bye
ok find a hydroponic store & buy fox farm soil & 3 part ferts & you cany go wrong I like to add about 35-45% perlite.Water as needed buy a soil moisture meter & a Ph meter.Or you can always use the ol buy the wieght of the container.A heavy container means theres water.Get some CalMagPlus also.

and also how do i know when i get an over watering problem? i am such a newb lol
