Hello everyone,
This is my first post. I'm a 39 yo female with chronic pain due to auto accident. Also PTSD w/ chronic anxiety. MJ was a wonder drug....till I moved to f'ing NC, where pot is illegal. I have a 35 acre farm near Asheville.....cool place but not friendly to pot, heicopters every month.... can't find a dealer....paranoid about being caught if I try to buy, smoke or grow, they will arrest me here. We are seriously thinking of moving back to CA (not just for the medical MJ but other reasons, like my job)
I lived in SF bay area of Ca before and MJ was great for my anxiety and fibromyalgia like pain
QUESTIONS FOR Long time users:
1. If I use pot w/ my vaporizer will it stop working for pain and anxiety? all these f'ing pain meds quit working and I dont want to get addicted
2. Do the THC pills work as well as the bud?
3. Does the recipe for THC pills using coconut oil work? I've made pot butter but cannot titrate dosage....
4. How can I hide pot smell after using vaporizor so boss and others do not know....smell on myself, clothes, i mean, not in my house or car.
Thanks for all the help you can give me....

no, smoking out of a vape will not strip marijuana of its medical benefits. however, different smoking methods produce different highs... vaping i think usually produces more of a body high, that many say feels cleaner than a normal high. i would guess that this would be a good thing for pain relief, not sure about the anxiety. every person is different and it just depends.
yes they should.
youtube it dog.
do whatever you do for the smell when you normally consume marijuana. vapes smell less than marijuana and smell less like marijuana... thats another advantage of vaping, as it makes blazing in a dorm or whatever really chill.

1- no, it will just get you a different high than say, smoking out of a pipe.
2- the THC pills should work. I only know a few people who take them, but they have no complaints.
3- idk. never tried it, try googling it.
4- same thing. rules apply the same for any forms of smoking, be it vaporizer or spliff. vaporizers have a wee bit less of open smell, but its still noticeable. Just do what you normally do
good luck with the pain and situation |

Thanks for all the help you can give me.... | 1. As others have said, the vape should take care of your needs.
2. Unkown to me--i've never used THC pills.
3. Do you mean the one on this site? It should work, although I'm not sure how much easier titration would be.
4. Use normal methods. It really depends. I recommend smoking right before you shower (presumably before you dress for going out), but some people find that showering brings them down significantly. Blow vapors/smoke away from your body (especially if you're wearing clothes that you can't have be smelly), smoke in a well-ventilated area. Basically things other people have already said.

the only question i could answer. i've heard no, again i havent actually tried. i've eaten cookies though and i'd imagine they are somewhat like marinol. much more of a headie high, non of the cannibinoids that are the actual pain killers. might make you feel better anxiety wise, probably not pain. but if your paranoid about getting caught who knows.
if you can find a dealer that is trust worthy though i think you'd be fine. the cops won't come kickin in your door unless you parade around town telling everyone you smoke. you have your own place, that should be safe. grow a plant in the basement.
my advice though, i don't know much about medical marijuana. i just smoke alot of pot lol
