Is anyone currently a licensed medicinal marijuana user? If so, what state or country?

I'm not, unfortunately, but I was in Cali about a month ago staying in my friends college dorm.
I came across a normal looking prescription pill bottle except where the description of the contents was there was "Super Silver Haze " or somethinmg like that.
Being too blazed at the time to ask my friend if it was real, I have since been wondering if medical marijuana actually comes in a legitimate prescription bottle, or if the thing i saw was just a novelty item. If it was real, awesome, because treating marijuana like every other medicine is one step in the right direction.

i use it medically but not a registered medical user. in my state pain control is not one of the legal uses. Washington state has a hard to obtain guidlines. you litteraly have to have a terminal illness(ms, md, aids, cancer, hep c and a few others just as bad)

I have recently become medical marijuana user. I've never really been much of a pot smoker because it makes me sleepy. Well now that is exactly the effect that I seek. This herb is a fantastic pain reliever!. I live in Oregon and recieved my permit in January.
I felt like a fish out of water. It was exciting, but a loud"what now" question rang in my head. I stumbled onto the Mr Buds Grow room from dopefiend.co.uk and from there discovered Zandors Grow report. Just love to listen to the DopeCast too. I 've learned alot of usefull info already and find that brings me back for more.
I have set up an indoor garden with soil. When I'm able I will switch to hydroponics. But my already green thumb is with soil soo. Everthing is looking tremendous. C.

I don't know if this is in the right place so move it if you have to.
I have osteoarthritis in both knees, was diagnosed about 15 years ago as I was having one of the knees scoped, they woke me up to show me that I had no cartiladge..
I was told that I would need knee replacements later on in life, I asked when & how would I know & they said " oh you will know when it's time " & was told that what I know as pain now I won't notice as pain in a few years..
Well they were right, it did pass & I didn't have much pain until the last couple years it gets pretty bad where I don't want to take a step, and then that passes but it's happening more & more I take vicodine when I need it but I really don't want to take it, not good for the liver..
I would like to find a strain that would help, if anybody knows which strain please leave a message, thanks...

I've had a card for 3 yrs. Live in SoCal. Went to 3 dispensaries the lst year. One was excellent, not so the other 2. Got bad product once. Very expensive too. Average $60 and up for 1/8th. Excellent selection at the lst place. Seems like most patients with severe pain prefer an indica strain and sativa for other pain and depression, anxiety, etc. But then Feds raided in our county so nothing is happening right now. It's all up and down in every county in CA. As with all the patients I know, I cannot use any "legal" drugs because of liver problems. It is a God-send to millions of us. | |

In Cali, you can get a med card recomendation for $150 from many doctors specializing in such. And along the coastline in the areas I visited, there are many dispensaries. Yes, they sell the weed in those clear orange pill bottles with strain name on a front label. I saw several different strains while I was there.
BUT, I personally am not sure how I feel about being a card holder. I fear it raises a red flag which might cause problems with the DEA.
Vote to legalize. Maybe one day we can garden legally! Until then, be safe |

Not Medically legal here in Minnesota. However I suffer from Irritatible bowel syndrome (the runs lol) and I notice that within a few minutes after toking, I feel much better, stomach cramps go away for at least 12 hours or more afterwards.
I also suffer from mild anxiety and when my friends want to go out to the bar or hang in a large crowd, I'll smoke a bowl or two to stay calm in those areas.
I also have ADHD and I heard that certain states are allowing people with ADHD to smoke medicinally which is good because it keeps me focused on something and my mind is not wandering all over the place.
I need to move somewhere that I can get it medicinally.

I am a medical user. Am a member of the Cannabis Buyers Club Of Canada Plus The Compassion Club in Vancouver plus Victoria. I been a medical user now for over 9 years. Cannabis helps me with pain and sickness. I have spainal cord cancer plus Hep C and I have brain damage. I was shot afew times in my life so a piece of my brain is missing from the last time that I was shot...So I still get alot of pain in my head but the bud seems to help big time. I grow my own too, so I never run out."
