how would you go about cross breeding plants? i think i have some sort of idea... and if you have a seed from a hybrid plant will it grow to be just as good or better then the original plant?

its pretty simple because marijuana is a plant that has sex, just as we humans do. if you have a male plant when it matures it will produce little bananas that will open up and spread its pollen into the air.

the white hairs on the female plants are there to grab the pollen from the male plants, so if you were trying to crossbreed plants, the simplest way is to take a male plant that has bunches of the male flowers on them and brush the plant all up against a female that is flowering. shortly after you will have a few hundred seeds.

these seeds will show certain traits of their parentage, but with this first generation of seeds you will have lots of variance(some noticeably more and less desirable than others). it takes a few generations to pick the desired traits and then stabilize the new "strain"

I pretty sure it usaually takes 5 generations or more to get a sturdy cross. which will show traits from both strains. I just read this out of Jorge C. medical book!

Simple way of crossing!
F1 : mother X father
f2 : female offspring X father (this makes the female offspring)
F3: mother X male offspring(This makes the male offspring)
F4: female Offspring X male offspring ( By this time offsprings sould show disirable traits of both plants)
F5: female offspring X original father(only if backcrossing)
