Some pice of Blueberry and also some of LED Testing I am doing. The big room is the HPS, I just started to test a new LED. It was made for commercial use I asked the guy if he thought it would grow plants, he was not fer suregave me a good price to try 2 of them. They do great for seeding and cloning and veggie now I need to see if it can do what my HPS does. I have 2 locations that I am growing.
Looks like you have lotsa experience, very nice setup. Are you aero or nft? I'm pretty sure you will find the leds wont come close to the hps, but someday they will be able to pack enough power into them to make them workable. Grow on
im with that other head..l.e.d.'s are great for mini maglites, x'mas lights, cameras, all kinds of stuff...NOT budding pot plants though, stick with hps
thats cool if they do good on veg. though.. i've been having decent luck with those 6500'ish kelvin self ballast flouresents (125 watt'ish) in veg. room
Yeah if you can find some good cheap LED, not the cheap ones on Ebay. I tell people like myself that have (6) 4' panels that holds (8) T5's to change those out. Yes the T5's are not using that much Electric but like the light I have does not use hardly anything. So we are going to change out the veggie room and cut back on Electric and still keep our HPS's for now until all of the tests are finish and see if it is worth the changing of the HPS's to LED.
