Okay. I've done a couple of flouro grows before, so I'm not a complete noob, but I'm no expert either. I've got some sick plants. They were all doing fine at first, but 4 out of 5 are getting pretty bad leaf burn. They were all treated the same and were just transplanted from the nursery 6-pack starter trays to 1 liter plastic pots. The soil is fresh Miracle Grow pre-fertilized garden soil. I have added nothing but fresh water. The strain is...well...I have no idea. They were just seeds picked from purchased mid grade bud. I have lined the closet completely with white plastic and am using a recycled satellite dish as a reflector with a total of 9 26 watt CFL bulbs for a total light output of 1570-ish lumens. I have a 25 watt green incandescent bulb in there too to keep it warm at night. Temp stays stable at about 75F and humidity is normal. I dont want them too big before they start budding because of the low light output, so I put them on 12-12 2 days ago. Included is a close-up pic of one of the plants and a pic of the overall grow setup. I just watered and misted them, so that's why there's water in the tray. I don't let them stay that way long term. If you want to know something I didn't mention, just ask me.

Looks like nute burn and over watering to me. Maybe flush them out and let them dry for a couple days. Looking a bit crispy though.

Okay. Drained off all the excess water and will just let them sit for a while and see what happens. I don't usually fertilize more than once per bud cycle, but is miracle grow bad? So far I'm just using their soil. I can get something more specialized if necessary. Just tell me what to look for. I just thought if it works well on tomatoes it would work well for this. I just don't want to go with hydro without HID lighting.

i'm useing the same set up my plants are just a bit smaller.i would try raiseing the lights a bit, and not water for a week if you can get by with that. and put the lights on 18/6. heres a pic of one of mine. i also bought a real small heater at wallyworld and have a fan on them 24/7

Fox Farm Ocean Forest would be your best bet if your open to buy'n soil. Its organic & cannabis loves it...using Fox Farm nutrients along with Ocean Forest is a win/win situation. I would try to stay clear of ANY miracle grow product in regards to cannabis. It does work great for tomatoes like you said though... check out planetnatural.com for Fox Farm products.

thanks for all the help guys. worth mentioning i left out a zero in the lumen output of my reflector. i said 1570. i meant 15700. one zero makes a big difference...lol.
