As you may be able to see by my name I am new to growing. My plants have been on a 12/12 schedule since the first week of March. It just seems to me that they are growing very slowly(have hairs and formation of buds but very very small), still giving miracle grow now with every other watering(should it be every?). They are in a Michigan basement so temp probably is a factor at not being at ideal temps. I am just looking to do this the cheap and easiest way way possible the first time. It is a weed isn't it? It shouldn't be that sensitive. The buds and hairs have been visible for over two weeks and haven't noticed too much growth. Am I just being impatient? What strain would you classify this as? Thanks in advance for the help.

how many lights and what is wattage or lumines?

also you can't really just guess the strain without a prior idea.

Each plant has two 13 watt bulbs with 825 lumens a bulb

it's most likely the lighting, i'd say with the two bulbs it works great for vegetative growing but once it reaches the flowering stage it needs more light and with less Kelvins. If the CFLs you have aren't soft white you could get those to potentially increase the effectiveness and speed, increased wattage would also help the plant. If you can't afford a whole lot even just one additional light would help greatly because I know first hand, generally using the same bulbs for vegetating and flowering isn't too good because they require different lighting so when you switch it without increasing anything it will stay at the same slow pace.

The correct spectrum allways helps,a few quid invested in a good lamp will reward you with bud again and again,youll save time and with a good lamp your buds will be bigger and of higher quality.

Low quality light will produce low quality bud. Investing in a good light, even a 150hps, will pay for itself in the long run.

Yea it's a weed. That just means it will continue to grow in conditions that are barely suitable for it's needs. It doesn't mean it will produce a lot. The better you meet your plants needs the better it will grow.

someone on amazon has a 400 watt hps for like 125. cheapest ive been able to find one and they work great. need a new one cuz my nephew broke mine

HtG is the place to go for lighting. A 400 watt HPS would help you out immensely.
And you could get a combo that would allow to run a metal hilyde for your next grow. The money is def worth it man for the end result
