personaly i did not celebrate 420, it seems to me that it has become a holiday for all the people who dont really stand for the stoner lifestyle. i see many people getting blazed out of their minds then making asses of themselfs, i dont really want to be a part of that. isnt 420 spos to be a holliday where people chill and enjoy life not a day to get "fucked up"? idk it just depresses me that people seem to forget the true meaning of 420.

I believe 420 is a day to party are ass off but at the same time its a day to spread the word.Let everyone know about the great plaint we all know as Marijuana mostly the ones that dont already know like non-smokers and we got to spread the love that all of us have being stoners got so others can get the Demon side out of the big debut that they THINK the drug has and let them know the real side of are life style. that we all share and have in common which is love for others and stoners are the most decent Humans on earth

Well, I celebrated it in Amsterdam for Dopestock 2007, and it was an absolute blast, and really a life-changing experience. Sure, there's probably people out there who treat it like a St. Patrick's Day for stoners, but from the turnout I'd guess that there's a lot of people who don't.

My 420 was just another day. I get stoned just about every day. The cops have put the kybosh on about all the 420 big activities around here. They're on to that 420 business.

I agree. 420 used to be a stoner secret. Now even my principal knows what it means. It started as a code between a few laidback kids in Cali (they would pass each other in the halls during school and say "420," as a reminder to meet after school). Wannabe posers copied off them to try to be cool, not actually knowing what it meant. From that day on 420 lost its innocence and became a Hallmark holiday. Seriously, I think I saw a 420 greeting card at Hallmark the other day. No Joke

True stoners have their own unique traditions between their group of friends. No need to copy off others.
