I wouldn't try it for the first time right before your test, because if you are one of those who can't remember anything after smoking, then it could hurt your grade. I would just wait, hit the bong and then try to study after your test. See how much you retain and how it affects you and then go from there. Best of luck.

Research on encoding specificity says you remember information best in circumstances as close to those you were in when you originally learned the information as possible. So if you are high all the time in class, stay high when you study and when you take exams. If, on the other hand, you attend and study soberly, stay sober for the test, and you will do better.

I can probably find the research if necessary, and this is certainly borne out by my personal experiences.
