Hey guys, I'm new here and I'm pretty new to pot as well. I started smoking towards the beginning of the school year in early autumn and I LOVE IT! Before I just smoked what my cousin had and we smoked together and now I have someone who is willing to hook me up with some stuff. Since I'm pretty new to the world of weed I was hoping that those seasoned stoner veterans can help me out with price and stuff so I don't get ripped off.
Basically I want to know what amount is best to buy (ounce, gram, etc.) and how much I should pay for the quality of it. I know there are a lot of factors and this would help me out a lot. Thanks in advance  |

If you plan on smoking regualrly you should pick your self up an eighth or a quarter of some good dro. About 50-60 for an eighth and about 90-110 for a quarter.

Weed is priced differently everywhere you go, man. You're better off getting all this info off a friend in your area or something.

some nice searching of the site will give you a gen idea of prices in your area.
50 an eighth, or 10 -15 bucks a gram is the norm.

Yeah just ask your friends about it... and off course like in any other product business if you buy a lot the prices go down, normaly... I would say (grow your self), if you can.
You know what you smoke, dont take risks (busted), final price normaly is not that high.... and so on

I'm glad to be here too, everyone seems real friendly and nice=) I read some of the other comments and I have a pretty good general idea now and I think I'm going to look for that weed cost thread you were talking about. yeah it really depends, you'll build strong contacts as you progress through your weed adventures, and you're more than likely to get ripped off at least once in your life before you get a strong dealer.
But enjoy, it's one of the best things that's happened to me.

now lets just say the bombest chronic prices... this is my generalization
big cities/ street price dealers= you're going to pay 50-60 for an 8th, which is equivalent to 3.5 grams.
if you live in suburban areas/ less busy areas= you're gonna pay aroun 40 an eighth.
in denver the price was 50/8th
in reno price was 40/8th
in las vegas price was 60/8th
so yeah it varies... but dont ever pay over 50 in my opinion unless you live in a super busy area.
