What else does Ganja do for you?

For me it's a painkiller/anti-depressant, and keeps me tolerant and lengthens my fuse of aggression

Marijuana, at least once a day it makes me have a crazy moment where I realize something insane and feel amazing. it seems to allow me to think entirely differently about EVERYTHING.

Also mary-jane helps me put up with the stupidity I encounter on a daily basis lol.

Same here, and also acts as a pain killer as well as a temporary anti-depressant.

Mary Jane really helps with my anxiety. I really don't want to take any kind of man-made pill or anti-depressant, so I toke instead. It just just calms me down completely, and helps me look at everything with a more mellow/understanding view. I really enjoy the relaxation that overcomes me!

I feel like im making no sense and yet im making perfect sense at the same time....

I also see shit on the walls, sometimes they appear to me like multi-colored, but only tinted, not like a vibrant canvas or anything.

I also like to laugh, especially at my buddy nick.

He always looks me in the eye, pauses, and says "dude, im fuckin stoned."

I laugh my ass off EVERY time.

It makes me feel good instantly, yet isn't something I need to get through my day. I'm very happy if I can smoke a bowl after work, but I'm also absolutely fine without it.

Plus its much safer than alcohol, which I've already had many bad experiences with. I can safely say that alcohol is no good for me, just give me my ganja and I'll be fine.

The great bud gives me a while to just sit and figure shit out in my head. It also numbs the pain from my bum knee and it makes me see everything in a more positive way. Im also bipolar so it helps me keep my cool.

As my friend put it, it's a good mood in a bowl. Well, more like he mentioned something about why do we make it illegal to grow good moods in the ground or something like that. Still. If I'm ever bummed, angry, stressed, or whatever, I toke and I feel great. If I'm happy I still toke because it makes me that much happier. I have a great time. I also smoke when I'm tired, because I sleep much deeper, and I always wake up feeling more rested. I toke because I dabble in the creative things that I'm too self-conscious about to improve myself upon when I'm not high. I smoke because I know how to use it responsibly. I know the appropriate times to smoke, for myself that is. I use it in a way to where it can almost only better my life. I use it to prove that you can still get baked while achieving greatly in academic and working endeavors.

Plus, what's better than smoking with friends?

smoking for me has been a better anti depressant than any damn pill cause its something i WANT to put in me but if im already in a depressed mood i have more depressing high than ussual but i was able to stop the meds and just smoke weed and my depression has almost completley vanished

Helps me prepare for work in the morning, helps me wind down after work. Helps me relax on a day when I'm bored. Oh yeah! And it gets me stoned. :P

Hittin the bong like cheech and chong

I have had several injuries over the 35 plus years I participated in the construction trades. I am full of arthritis in my back, knees, hips, elbows and hands, pain is my constant companion, and has caused me to lose rest, mobility and sleep.....pot fixes most of the problems that I endured for several years. I tried damn near every "remedy" out there, and pot gives me substantially more relief without being unconcious on morphine or any of the synthetic "Opiates"...I have zero withdrawl if I back off consuming...it really is a no brainer.

I am thankful that I will not ever face a jail term, fine or loss of property because here in Canada...the "Medical use of prescribed Marijuana" is licensed by Health Canada, our national medicaid program.

Hopefully these brain dead fascist zealots governing America and other countries get off the Multinational Drug Manufactures bandwagon...but it would go against their corporate well being wouldn't it...just legalize then tax the hell out of it, free up jail cells for violent criminals, and give farmers a cash crop they can pay their mortgage with......duhhhhhhhhhhh!

It lets me step back and look at all the things I have to deal with and not become overwelmed. It gives me a chans to take a deep breth and look at the work ahead of me and not freak out.

The only bad thing about weed is when it runs out.

Pretty much to relax and what not. Though I do use it to just sit and think about things in which - I don't know if they are or not - seem to be genius philosophical ideas while I'm high. Oh and don't forget the music writing, as a musician, marijuana helps a great deal with song ideas and just crazy shit. I love the stuff.

I HATE alcohol. Drinking is always such an unpleasant experience to me, not to mention I've had to deal with alcoholism from others VERY often and it's NOT pretty.
