I did for about a year a while back...
Only reason I don't still supply the ganj is simply because I don't think the risks of sellin' are worth the consequences.

We made a shitload of cash, smoked buds for free all day, but youll be constantly looking over your shoulder (if you're smart) which I can't really take, i'd rather just cheeeeef!

Technically I've never dealt. Though I have done runs for people and got a cut of it, simply because I don't give a shit if I get caught (Not trying to make myself look big), it's only weed and it's Canada. I won't get much trouble.

Plus everyone in my town was (and still are to this day) sellin' $25/g
I was cleanin' EVERYONE'S business out sellin $15/g and very high quality...

Those were the days.
It's really not for me though.
Prison doesn't appeal to me.

I kind of have a thing about dealing. Not sure how to describe it really, except that I have a strong urge to not do it. Well, to not do it a certain way. There is a difference, in my mind, between dealing and selling.

Based on prior experience, those that view their business as dealing tend to be more likely to rip you off, there's no negotiation, and the entire transaction does not leave the customer with good vibes. Selling, to me is different. For example, I have a good mate who grows a bunch of strains and sells the harvest. But he's very approachable, he'll show you his grow rooms, negotiate price, recommend strains, etc. I know dealer is just a term but I find it is a term applied to a certain kind of seller. So I would never deal. I might grow and sell, but not deal.

That being said I don't have a big problem with what I view as dealing in others, just wish they'd be what I see as sellers, though I do understand there's some more risk involved that way.

Hmm... maybe this wasn't entirely clear.

I personally think the only way you can make a ton dealing is to sell to people you dont know, which is very very bad. Not worth the risk to make the whole thing worthwhile. if you are doing it to make alot of cash, you have to do it on a such a high level, and its super risky. If you barely do it, you make no cash.

selling is different though, thats just peddling of a gram to a buddy or something.

My gig was, I knew like 8 people who were buying by the oz. and selling it per gram.

I had a good hookup with a grower so I could get an ounce to them for lower than anywhere they could get one and better bud at that. Each of them would always want an ounce or two, rarely they'd be low and only get a half O or a quarter...

And my smoking buddies I'd just sell them 15$ grams for them and anyone they were cool with.

Worked out sick...
Still not worth it, I'll not do it again that's for sure.

yeah i hustled if you can call it that. Until a lil bitch dropped my name cause i was still in Highschool, then my source went to jail. and every time i would pick up it was bunk. Brown shit cant even give away for free. Most i picked up at once was a half pound but i stuck to Q/P's. Basically i made no money but smoked like half my shit for free. most i made per Q/P was like 70 bucks once or twice. I smoked heavy usin blunts is hard to conserve.

seems to me like the only way to make it worth it (money wise) would be to be way up in the chain
moving massive amounts

but it sounds like most peop,e on here just did it so that they could smoke a lot and not have to pay

I made decent money for real.
Moving ounces at a time on a regular basis when you have a good hookup ain't no joke!

I stopped because a couple people I know who were dealin' got boned hard.
One just got out of jail...
Another sold something else other than pot, but he's still behind bars. Screeewww That. Count me out, til it's legal, I'll just smoke it haha.

And then when it's legal (yes I'm a goddamn optimist, I use WHEN not IF), dealing won't be profitable anyway unless you run a Marlboro sized company. Just like growing and selling your own tobacco isn't very profitable. Marijuana will become subject to everything tobacco is subject to, and prices will eventually drop (good for end users), because of wider availability. Sadly it means quality, after the initial boost, will drop with mainstream herb and we'll still be paying the same price for the good stuff

Dealing....parasites.

Producing...that's another story...I happen to produce my own 5 grams/day legal prescription...25 plants at a time...do you realize how well this stuff can grow??????????

I own a greenhouse, and can produce up to 200 plus pounds of this wonder every year, year round...do the math.

I am a ninth generation...from Europe farmer...a son of the American Revolution, who believes in the free enterprise system. With over forty years of growing experience personally, I can say with some certainty that true free enterprise does not exist in America today. The control freaks who want to remain in control...really fucked up here folks...look at "Dubya" and the train wreck he left for Obama to clean up.

Give us hard pressed farmers a goddamn cash crop that needs zero subsidies to produce a crop we can pay our debts with, and return liberty to those of us non-violent North Americans who are willing to pay our "Fair Share" and keep the greedy fucks atbay!
