hey everybody! it's like 3:21am and i can't sleep. i narrowed it down to these following reasons:

1. i just watched 3 hours of youtube videos
2. my roomies and i watched 1 whole season of Ghost Hunters
3. I can't get comfortable with this splint on my ankle

I'm guessing it's all of the above. my ankle is killing me from this coldness florida has been attacked with the past couple of weeks. my ankle (which already had 1 surgery 12/21/07 and had ANOTHER surgery scheduled for 12/19/08) is majorly effed up - i have very bad tendinitis and my doc has to go in and reconstruct my tendons and ligaments because i effed them when i fell in a hole covered by grass at the outdoor mall by my old place. blah blah blah, on wednesday morning i was trying to scrap the damn ICE off of my windshield. it's not something this florida girl is used to at 7:30am. as i was walking in front of my car to get to the other side my lovely ankle SNAPPED from the cold. i went down and immediately wanted to vomit. i got this heat wave over my body and started stripping off my scarf and winter jacket because i thought i was nauseas from the heat wave. omg the pain was so intense. i sat on my freezing cold driveway for 10 minutes before i was able to collect my thoughts and figure out if i could stand up or not. after about 4 mins of grabbing my suv's bug guard (ew) i was able to pull myself up. i hobbled to my driver's seat and was like "eff this shift" i called my boss who is my mother and i was like "mom, just fell on my bad ankle i will be to work when i can get there" so i eventually got to work, crying the whole way in pain as i stepped on the gas and brakes, got to work and my ankle was bruising up - so i called my doc and he got me in friday morning (my wonderful mother took me since i could not drive) they immediately brought me to the x-ray room and my doc came flying in and was like "WHAT DID YOU DO!!!???" so yada yada - no break, i just sprained an already exasberated (sp) injury so he put me in a soft cast and a giant moonshoe looking boot until monday and then he is going to take the casting off and leave me in the boot until surgery, and if i am still having the bad swelling he will cut me open wider to see whats going on!

so maybe all that on my mind is making sleep hard to achieve!

thank G-d I have Green! the doc had a knee jerk reaction to rx me ib profun 800 and percs - i am only taking the ib profun to keep the swelling down and i am taking weed for pain. ohhh yea. wish he could prescribe me that. oh not in florida though!

Sucks that your ankle is fubared. Hope they can fix it and take care of the problem.

Totally know the heat wave moment, had that kind of feeling when I tore my ACL.

yea when you say coldness are you talkin 50s cause id kill for it to be that warm here. But thats why your in the south and my dumb ass is up north. Im gonna move to Port St Lucie one day in Fl. But as for my bong shes broke in a dump somewhere. or sold to a friend.

reefabuser- she was scraping ice off her windshield which doesn't occur until the 30's.. very sorry to hear about the tendinitis.I have broken my ankles before and felt that hot/cold wave you speak of..... that is the worst thing ever!I got that the worst when I pinched three nerves on the left side of my back... worst hot/cold spells I could ever imagine!my bong is chillaxin in my room right now.. she needs a water change and its time for some VABONG-age time! hehe

Scraping ice off the windshield would have told ya its in the 30s in Fla at the time. It DOES get down to 30 or so in Florida once in a while. My fiancee is down there right now she said it was 40 when she got there but it warmed up to the 60s now.....lucky her. I hate Minnesota!
