Last year I found myself in a quandry when it came to finding work. Every decent job I wanted to apply for had drug testing. I finally accepted the reality of this situation and stopped smoking. It took me over two months to be able to pee clean (I was a daily smoker since 1980). I finally secured a job, passed the test....only to find out that they do random testing.
Not just any random testing. It's unannounced, routinely. A few weeks ago I saw this program in action. My boss and another person showed up in my office (two man operation) and announced that my co-workers name came up for the test. They immediately took her in their car to the testing site where she was tested in a matter of minutes from the announcement.
Knowing about this program, I refrained from smoking for many months. I started having a drink at night, but I hate alcohol. I'm now in a situation where I have been tempted to smoke on occassion (once or twice a week) and know that if I were called in for the random test, I'd fail it.
I have no advanced warning and I just want to smoke now and again (DARN IT!!). I'd be ever so humiliated if I were to get picked. My odds of getting picked are 50% according to the employee handbook.
Sure, I need to find other work, but for now, with the economy as it is, I need this job. I guess I could just put it away again (grudgingly) and not whine about it....but I was hoping someone here could tell me of a way for a light smoker to pass the urine test with no notice, or time to prepare.
I'm probably whistling dixie....but I thought I'd see if anyone here knows how to always be prepared....???????......

I hate drug testing. Freakin' a. But its a fact of life. I just had to give a sample this morning. writing THC as a medication taken in the past week and being legal for it feels good, just wanted to share that. (Prospective patients in fortunate states, get er done, ey.)
No way to beat it 100 percent, without just staying clean. Now, a saliva test will only usually show you've smoked, if it was within 24 hours of the test. After 24 hrs the saliva tests are incredibly unreliable.
Or you could use a prosthetic pee-ner, or someone elses urine. Might take some planning.
If you are gonna fail, fail big. Use it like you want to. You lose the job whether you test for .250 nanometer per milliliter anyway, might as well hit the upper threshold at 450 nm per ml.
Well there is the whole "go big or go home" thing I guess. You're right JDR, if you're going to pop positive anyway you may as well have enjoyed yourself. Having a contingency plan is never a bad idea though. Perhaps a slight overdose on some laxative? "Sorry sir I can't test now, I'm peeing out my but and the regs are against that." Something to think about.

Is any job worth all that? I take lesser jobs that don't test. I've always been a slacker and taken the easy way out. I may not earn a lot, but I don't sweat over piss tests either.
So you're saying they take the managers car to this event? Not yours?
YES! That's what I'm saying. I figured I'd get the call, go home, get a drink, screw around for an hour and go pee. Not so...
LMAO at the rest of you! This is a Seasonal Job until October and I'm in school for Medical Transcription so I can work from home by the end of next year. I was stunned when I saw them come 'get 'em and drive her down'....what the hell????? LOL!
I've been keeping the smoking low as it leaves the body in 2-3 weeks rather than the few months it took the last time. I know it's been a game....Guess I just need to put it away until October....Don't think I want to have someone's urnine in my pants EVERY day, just waiting....

Oh....I've considered the legal route....I have a reason to do it...maybe I'll look into that. The other thing is if I'm found out and in "REHAB" when they find out, I get a pass....what a pain in the ass...
Police in Amsterdam are complaining over new rules banning them from smoking cannabis while off duty.
Officers in the Dutch capital, famous for its liberal drugs laws, have been told they must set the public "a good moral example".
The ban, due to come into effect on January 1, will make the force the first in the Netherlands to bar officers from using drugs when not at work.
Frank Gittay, the city's police council chairman, said: "Until now police were only banned from showing up for work stoned or drunk.
"But now we are telling officers they should also behave like the police at all times.
"That means not taking drugs and not getting excessively drunk whether on or off duty."
But Dutch police union chairman Hans van Duijn said: "Many of our members are opposed to this.
"They are not paid for 24-hours a day. What they do in their free time is up to them."
luckily my job doesnt test... i actually smoke every single day at my job with my coworkers or supervisor, depending on whose there. fun job, im on the maintenance team on an alpine slide... we go up after it closes, then get paid $12.50 an hour to sit on our asses and smoke weed at the top of the ski mountain, then take out time riding down the slide and painting on fiberglass patches. in the morning its the same thing but we walk up the slide and smoke as we sand the patches from the night before. enough about me though....
unless you want to quit and try to find a chill job like mine, then really the only way to ensure that you wont fail that shit is to go the Wizzinator route, or roll the dice till october. but honestly man, smoke up... only smokin once or twice a week is the same as smoking every day all day, because either way youre gonna fail if you have to piss. might as well go out with a bang.

well there are ment to be a pill you can take that cleans you in one day.
also if you do fail just say that you are freinds with people how smoke weeed and aslong as you only smoke few joint now and they it will not be strong enough to tell that you smoke i learned this because wanted to join army so checked up.
