I just found a tin of pot in the extreme bottom of my closet that is 23 months old. Im smoking it now, and very slowly i might add (drier than Bill Cosby). What do you guys think, is it gunna get me high? ye or ne?

Well, there's a question of oxidation. If it was in a reasonably well sealed container, it should be fine. The loss in potency would probably only be noticeable in a laboratory environment. It's just going to burn like a grass fire.

This seemed like the perfect thread for me to respond too. As to the question of whether you'll get high on the 23 month old weed the answer is yes. That's as long as you understand that a large part of the experience is in the process. Experienced stoners could probably get wasted smoking yak turds under the right circumstances. I shouldn't have to tell you this but getting high on weed is about exploration and discovery. Each of us embrace the joys and uncertainties of the universe when we bakeout.
A heart surgeon once told me that most heart attacks happen in the morning especially Monday mornings. "He said each day you should rise gently from bed. set there with your hands on your lap. Breath deeply and slowly. Feel the coolness of the air comming into your lungs. Feel the warmness of the air leaving your lungs expelling the CO2. feel the presence of yourself in the universe. Feel the beating of your heart and be in the moment of time." If you live each day in this way getting high on 23 month old weed will be a sinch. Don't forget to share.
So true peety and most happen on the toilet. although only 1 of mine was a monday morning, the 1stone and not on the toilet, but at work on a difficult job. For me, i'm just thankful getting up.
As for the weed question, It should work but not as good as properly stored weed. I did notice the origional poster never responded. Either he is still high, that old weed did something bad to him or he just doesn't care anymore, lol.

wow. sorry guys, kinda forgot about this one. Well, it wasn't this best sealed tin (one of the ice breakers mints ones) so it worked kinda. plus it was probably shwag cuz i never had a realiable guy until about a year ago and now-a-days my tolerence is through the roof. BTW I really dig the good word peety and i do practice a similar morning routine. Wake up and thank God for the breath in my lungs the bed under my butt. (I WANNA GO FISHING BAAAAD)

I remember once one of my mates had a bit of weed and didn't want to take it home cause his mother is a cop and he's fucked if she finds it so he stashed it in the roots of a big tree in the forest in my little suburb and we both just forgot about it and about 4 months later we were walking through the forest and remember. So we looked for it and found it about a meter away from where we stashed it just sitting there on the ground. We picked it up and it was "BLACK" so he gave it to me cause he didn't want to smoke it. So I went around to my mates and busted out the bong. It tasted like complete shit and was not one bit enjoyable to smoke. But to our surprise we got a buzz off of it hahaha.
