Hey everyone, I'm new on here and I'm hoping you guys can help me with some quesitons. I'm a college athlete who doesn't smoke that often but definitely enjoys to do so when I can. I would love to be smokin daily now that it is summer and I'm home from school, but I'm worried about drug tests. I guess there is a new rule that the NCAA can test in the summer now, so I'm wondering how long THC will stay in my system and if I will be okay to smoke. I haven't smoked since probably Feb and even then it was a rare thing, so I've definitely been clean for awhile. I am going back to school at the start of June and I'm just wondering if the THC will be out of my system by then naturally. I'm not prepared yet to start doing crazy detox programs so I'm just wondering how long everyone thinks that ish will stay in me? Thanks.

Yes this is true, but i believe thats only how long thc stays in the fat cells. If its a urine test they arent testing for THC they are testing for some kind of metabolite or some thing like that. There for there are many steps that you can take to make it disappear from your urinary tract.
Lots of water, cranberry pills, and niacin have done the trick for me and numerous friends of mine in about a weeks time of not smoking, and thats for everyday frequent smokers.
You can also buy what i like to call the window drinks, where you drink them and you have so many hours "a window" to be clean

in an average individual, the half life of thc staying in your body is 96 hours. that is, after 96 hours your body will have half of the amount of thc it previously did. there are things you can do to reduce the half life time, most of that is all in living a very healthy and active lifestyle. being an athlete you are already 3 steps ahead on keeping your body in its optimal drug metabolizing state.
exercise(the more you sweat, the better) along with drinking green tea and getting a full spectrum of your vitamins and minerals will be your best bet for being clear while sneaking the occasional toke.
the less you smoke, the easier/faster it will clear from your body. this is because when thc enters your body, it tells the drug metabolizing system to take a little break. that is why tolerance builds up, and why it is harder to fully detox yourself when you are a daily toker.
